4 WLW Books Coming Out In The End Of 2019 and 2020 That Need To Be On Your TBR❣️

Hello my fellow little munchkins. How are you all doing? I am doing well. I am a little tried if I am being honest, but when am I never tired, really? I have been going through a lot of personal situations which has led to me to both stop posting on here and on other platforms for a majority of time. However, I hope that I am back for a longer run this time.

I will explain everything that is going on in a later introduction to a post but, I hope you all enjoy this post.

When We Were Magic by Sarah Gailey

A sly, witchy dark comedy about four teens whose magic goes wildly awry from Magic for Liars author Sarah Gailey, who Chuck Wendig calls an “author to watch.”

Keeping your magic a secret is hard. Being in love with your best friend is harder.

Alexis has always been able to rely on two things: her best friends, and the magic powers they all share. Their secret is what brought them together, and their love for each other is unshakeable—even when that love is complicated. Complicated by problems like jealousy, or insecurity, or lust. Or love.

That unshakeable, complicated love is one of the only things that doesn’t change on prom night.

When accidental magic goes sideways and a boy winds up dead, Alexis and her friends come together to try to right a terrible wrong. Their first attempt fails—and their second attempt fails even harder. Left with the remains of their failed spells and more consequences than anyone could have predicted, each of them must find a way to live with their part of the story.’

OH MY GOD DOES THIS BOOK SOUND AMAZING TO YOU OR IS IT JUST ME? I MEAN A GROUP OF KICKASS GIRLS WHO HAPPEN TO BE WITCHES TO LIKE THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I WANT TO READ RIGHT THIS MINUTE. THIS IS A BOOK THAT I WILL HAVE TO PRE-ORDER ASAP❣️❣️❣️

Belle Révolte by Linsey Miller

“Emilie des Marais is more at home holding scalpels than embroidery needles and is desperate to escape her noble roots to serve her country as a physician. But society dictates a noble lady cannot perform such gruesome work.

Annette Boucher, overlooked and overworked by her family, wants more from life than her humble beginnings and is desperate to be trained in magic. So when a strange noble girl offers Annette the chance of a lifetime, she accepts.

Emilie and Annette swap lives—Annette attends finishing school as a noble lady to be trained in the ways of divination, while Emilie enrolls to be a physician’s assistant, using her natural magical talent to save lives.

But when their nation instigates a frivolous war, Emilie and Annette must work together to help the rebellion end a war that is based on lies.”

I mean its about two girls, a revolution and magic. Need I say more? Just go add it to your TBR right now as it is coming out February 2020❣️

The Last True Poets of the Sea by Julia Drake

“The Larkin family isn’t just lucky—they persevere. At least that’s what Violet and her younger brother, Sam, were always told. When the Lyric sank off the coast of Maine, their great-great-great-grandmother didn’t drown like the rest of the passengers. No, Fidelia swam to shore, fell in love, and founded Lyric, Maine, the town Violet and Sam returned to every summer.

But wrecks seem to run in the family. Tall, funny, musical Violet can’t stop partying with the wrong people. And, one beautiful summer day, brilliant, sensitive Sam attempts to take his own life.

Shipped back to Lyric while Sam is in treatment, Violet is haunted by her family’s missing piece – the lost shipwreck she and Sam dreamed of discovering when they were children. Desperate to make amends, Violet embarks on a wildly ambitious mission: locate the Lyric, lain hidden in a watery grave for over a century.

She finds a fellow wreck hunter in Liv Stone, an amateur local historian whose sparkling intelligence and guarded gray eyes make Violet ache in an exhilarating new way. Whether or not they find the Lyric, the journey Violet takes-and the bridges she builds along the way-may be the start of something like survival.”

This book just came out and it is a a bisexual love story so I of course have to add it to my TBR right now. I honestly can’t wait to start reading it once I get the money to buy the book. This book just came out also on the first of October this year ❣️

Jessie Archer is a member of the Athena Protocol, an elite organization of female spies who enact vigilante justice around the world.

Athena operatives are never supposed to shoot to kill—so when Jessie can’t stop herself from pulling the trigger, she gets kicked out of the organization, right before a huge mission to take down a human trafficker in Belgrade.

Jessie needs to right her wrong and prove herself, so she starts her own investigation into the trafficking. But going rogue means she has no one to watch her back as she delves into the horrors she uncovers. Meanwhile, her former teammates have been ordered to bring her down. Jessie must face danger from all sides if she’s to complete her mission—and survive.”

Ladies plus ladies who are spies plus ladies and women who love each other all while being a little predictable who wouldn’t want to read a book like this especially since very little people can leave their house right now!!! Definitely a read worth buying at your local indie store right now!
